Little Learning Pond is made with care and shared for families to use at home. Here is what that means.
Free for personal use
You are welcome to use these tools, free of charge, for your own family: at home, with your own children, for your own non-commercial learning.
Please ask first for anything else
Written permission is needed before using Little Learning Pond for any commercial or organized use, including:
- Schools, preschools, tutoring centers, childcare settings, clubs and other organizations
- Tutors, therapists or teachers using it with paying clients or as part of a paid service
- Any business, or any product or service that is sold, subscribed to or advertised
If that is you, I would love to hear from you. Please contact me (or write to ) and tell me a little about how you would like to use it.
What is not allowed without permission
- Copying, reproducing, republishing or redistributing the tools, their design or their code
- Hosting your own copy, or putting the tools inside another website or app
- Selling, renting or sharing access for payment
- Downloading, copying or reusing the voice recordings, sounds, artwork or word lists
- Scraping or automatically collecting content from the site
- Removing or changing copyright notices
Linking to the site, and telling other families about it, is always welcome.

The fonts used on this site (Baloo 2 and Nunito) belong to their designers and are used under the SIL Open Font License. They are not covered by the restrictions above.
Using the tools
The tools are provided as they are, to help children practice. They are a learning aid and not a substitute for a teacher or professional advice, and I cannot promise that they will always be available or free from mistakes. Please supervise young children online.
Donations
Little Learning Pond is free. If you would like to help with running costs such as hosting and the domain name, donations are very welcome, but never expected. A donation is a voluntary gift, not a purchase, and it does not give you any extra rights to the site. Little Learning Pond is not a registered charity or nonprofit, so donations are not tax-deductible. Donations are handled by a separate payment service, and we do not receive or store your payment details.
Privacy
The site does not collect personal information. See the privacy note.

These terms may be updated from time to time. The version on this page is the current one.
